| Runners Information |
- Both the full and half marathon start at 9AM from Strand St. in Dingle town.
(See race map in course section)
- The half marathon finishes near Dunquin (outside Crugers pub) where provisions are made available and then buses are provided for the return in to Dingle town.
- The full marathon does a full loop of the peninsula, finishing in Dingle Town(See race map in course section)
- The cost of the half marathon is €55 and the cost of the full marathon is €65. This excludes the Active Europe booking fee (€5.40/€5.22) (Various offers and discounts on this price are available from time to time)
- A paper application is available is also available to download under the 'register' section.
- A runners pack with your number, information and chip will be sent to your address. This applies to ROI participants only. A registration desk will be in place the night before for participants from outside the ROI. Full information on this will be announced.
- The chip will be already be assigned to your unique number.
- Please write your details and medical information on the reverse of the number.

There is no registration required before the marathon,(except participants coming from outside ROI) all details will be included in the pack (which is sent to the address provided on line). You will arrive ready to go!

The course is Athletics Association of Ireland certified.

- All times are recorded digitally and will be available on the web site after the run is complete.
- The course is measured in miles.
- This event is all run on road.
- Full road closure is in place.
- Water stations are placed every 3 miles along the way.
- Portaloos are placed along the route.
- Walkers, fun runners, joggers etc are all welcome.

The HSE and Civil Defence will have First Aid personnel strategically positioned in and around the route to assist any runners and also to ensure no disruption to normal day to day services.
- Marathon-photos.com will be covering the event and all photos will be available on their site in due course. (http://www.marathon-photos.com/)
- All finishers will be presented with a special race medal, long sleeve shirt, goody bag and a special discount for 2010.
- Please note, road closure is in place for this event but please note cut off times are in place and the roads will reopen once these are reached. Half reopens after 3.5 hours, full reopens after 6.5 hours. The finish line does not close until 5pm (8 hours). Please note roads will be open for late finishers, please use the right side of the road.
- NB please respect the environment you are in and be mindful of the local culture and community in which you are in. Without the help of the people of the Dingle, this unique event would not be possible.
